On July 10, a big group of Thomasians from different colleges will dare to stand up against con-ass, the group will walk with other Universtities (Ateneo, La Salle, U.P., U.E., P.U.P. etc.). The group is called "U.S.T. - Students' Initiative." I want to encourage THOMASIANS or in a general sense everyone who believes that the “good” is worth fighting for to join this group. I do not want to believe that we don't care. I do not want to hear that we just let things pass. There is a person trying to clear her way so that she'll be able to be more freely corrupt through con-ass. This is a serious matter, time is running out and as of now, all we can do is walk in the streets and demonstrate the power of democracy.! I dream for a society without rallies, I want to attain that society, because of this I will do everything in my power and ability to fulfill this dream even though if it means that I have to undergo a thousand more rallies. I know people that don't care because they think that they will not get affected by the situation and therefore just watch the less privileged class of the society to suffer while playing with their computers. These people think that this kind of movement is "korny" and intellectually lessening. They don't know that they are already being used by evil leaders. These evil leaders know that Filipinos are getting tired of rallies that is why they are using this same thought in their strategy. People are falling into the trap of "non-cooperation", as being strategically abused by evil leaders, as brought about by the idea that we are getting tired of movements like this. Let us not fall into that trap by cooperating and thus disappoint the minions of darkness. Dream with us. Walk with us. Fight with us. Hope with us. The enemy is strong and yes they may win the battle, but let me tell you this; "WE HAVE TO GIVE THEM HELL BEFORE THEY DO!" If you are afraid to come because you have no friend in the group, you are wrong, because I am there, and I'll be your friend until the end. . . Remember; "HOPE WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE AS LONG AS IT EXISTS IN THE DICTIONARY OF MAN.”
